Welcome to World Alternative Education
World was set up to provide a platform for young people who have struggled in mainstream education; as a PE teacher that worked in mainstream education for 15 years, I have seen first-hand that not all young people can cope with the demands of school life. We offer a balance of academic work and outdoor activities to allow students to flourish in our alternative education setting. Our staff body consists of 5 qualified teachers who have all operated in mainstream schools, love the outdoors and are keen sportsmen.

BTEC Sport
The BTEC program can help us to understand the importance of maintaining healthy and safe lifestyle in and out of the workplace.

Mathematics can help us better understand and describe the world around us. Recognising the importance of mathematics in life and in society contributes to living safe, healthy and fulfilling lives.

The topic programme can help us to gain a wider knowledge of the world we live in giving greater understanding to so that we can approach many areas of life with an open mind.
