Students

We want everybody at World to be safe and happy. To achieve this, it is important that everyone is aware of the basic rules that World has and the standards and expectations that all staff will have of you.

This section will allow you to find out about what the rules and regulations are at World and what the rewards and sanctions are.

Rules and expectations

We expect all students to:

Rewards and sanctions

Achievement and Rewards

It is important to remember that behavioural standards at World Alternative Education are exceptionally good and that many students go through their school life avoiding any sanctions.

We want to reward you when you do well. The two major ways we do this is by rewarding your attendance and rewarding the student of the month.

Student of the Month

Each month, staff will nominate a student from each cohort for their outstanding achievement or greatly improved effort within both the classroom and practical activities. This student will receive a double KFC/McDonalds for the first week of the month.

Attendance

Each term students with a 100% attendance will receive a £15 amazon voucher.

Sanctions

It is important that you know what consequence you should expect if you do not meet our expectations.
